I don't know if someone posted this yet, if they did sorry for the double post. http://www.nbc5.com/money/1929695/detail.html
You can see the mail in requirements to order your report http://www.innovis.com/customer_assistance.htm. They say on their website they do mail requests only. Kind of like the stealth bomber of the credit world. Dont' know they are there until the bomb drops.
I just sent off for mine and my husbands innovis reports, about a week ago. I can't wait to see what is on there!
I guess you can't say you were denied credit and get one free....not yet anyways. I hate giving the CRAs money.
So do the free credit report rules apply here? ie unemployed and searching for work, etc? It kind of sounds like this is a pre-screen type mailing list - does anyone know if their data affects mortgage applications and other things besides credit card offers?
I don't know if the same rules apply, but I basically demanded a free report saying I was unemployed - seeking employment. (I actually am a full time student and not looking for employment.) We will see how far the "demanding" gets me with them. I sure don't want to send them any money if I don't have to!
Re: Re: Innovis In the News Should be a law as to how many companies can collect you credit info! One is more than enough!

Re: Re: Re: Innovis In the News Sorry to hi-jack a little. Just wanted to supplement to Butch regarding Kristy. Just recently she got quite ill and had surgery for something that evidently got quite serious. This is info. she and her sister posted for us at CIC: http://www.debt-consolidation-credi...flvDwd4ikQsrJjbVuMUDQPUK&forum=23&thread=8847 http://www.debt-consolidation-credi...flvDwd4ikQsrJjbVuMUDQPUK&forum=23&thread=8785 Apparently, she's now doing well and continues to recover. She has been back to the board. There's lots of work there due to a less than entirely seamless software "upgrade".
