I got 3 pre-approvals in the last week. One from American Express, one from Exxon Mobil and one from 1st Premier Bank. I like to read them once in a while and noticed an interesting tid bit on the 1st Premier letter.

It said that my account status will be reported to the four major credit agencies. Innovis was the fourth one. I wonder if it means that they are moving into the realm of credit scoring and not just sanitizing pre-approval letters for lenders?

They were a "TOP SECRET" CRA that was UNKNOWN.

They kept on saying "WE DON'T HAVE ON-LINE CREDIT REPORT ACCESS" people did not ask for ON-LINE ACCESS...all they wanted was a copy of their credit report!!!

They also said we are "NOT UP AND RUNNING YET"

Some people had to call over and over again...("WE DON'T ISSUE CREDIT REPORTS TO CONSUMERS")

When the finally got a report...IT MAY HAVE BEEN 3 ITEMS LONG...the BIG 3 may have had 20 or 30 or 100 items on it...

Nevertheless, when Innovis gets their act together, we will have 4 CRAs to deal with and not 3. Wonderful.

I'm the opposite. I've spent a year on mine to make sure it's not accurate. Creditnet has a lot of good info.

I'm saying~~the CRA has 5 late payments on one account and you were NEVER late...or they have ALL your accounts CLOSED and only 2 are closed...the CRA says you lived in NY but you never lived any state except CA...IT GOES ON AND ON....

IF YOU HAVE "TONS" OF BADDIES...I guess you want it "NOT ACCURATE"...BUT what if they have you down for 20 X 30 and 50 X 60 and 20 X 90 and you are only 5 X 30???

Or they have you "COLLECTION" when you are only 2 X 30???

THEY CAN MAKE YOU LOOK REALLY BAD WHEN YOU SHOULD ONLY BE A "LITTLE BAD"

LOL!! I knew what you meant when you said you want it accurate! I know I have too many variations on the spelling of my name on one of the credit reports. I guess I should go after that since I never use different names - kind of makes it look like I do. I think they all want you to look bad. All of my bad stuff is at least 2 years old and most alot older. I have bought stuff with monthly payments over the past couple of years, but apparently these companies only report if you don't pay. So - my credit reports reflect the old me, and have nothing to do with how I have been paying for the past couple of years. Very annoying. And so what if I paid on day 31 instead of day 30 - I really don't think I should be punished for 7 years because of that!

Just kidding, but I know what you mean. I had a store chain that is now out of business screw me over by reporting a loan in collection after I paid it off.
