I'm now down to 0 inquiries on TU & EQ, and none for six months on EXP.

My scores are starting to approach 700. When my new balances (finally) get reported, I'm pretty sure I'll break 700.

I suspect that 700 is a magic number and I'm wondering if the inq subtracts the 7 points during that report or after.

"IF" you have 700 and apply and have a "HIT" of -7...your score should have still been 700 for what is sent to the credit card company...

The next credit card company would get 693...

    Just a GUESS...
