I checked my Equifax report and their was 2 inquiries that the company name is written as not known. Has anyone had this on their report before?

    Thanks,

    NEVER...but you can dispute it!!!!
They MUST remove it, if they can't name the business.

    Haven't seen you lately...

Is everything good in your credit world?

    George,

The inquiries are promotional/soft inquiries. I just don't like the fact that someone can look at my credit files and not be identified. Is that legal?

My credit life is great! 798 FICO. I'm here daily, just reading the threads, though.

I would dispute it any way...there are rumors that "SOFT" may also affect F.I.C.O.

Makes sense to ask why they are giving out information about you to an unknown entity.
