how long do inquiries count against you? 60 days? 90 days? 6 months? 3 years?

    Anyone know?

2 years on the reports, but most companies only care about the past year...

When I applied for HELOC last summer, I asked the loan consultant for my score and she added copy of a report to my loan package. This report is from information pulled from EX. The top of the report has a "Profile Summary". In that it has inquiries in three catagories.

    INQS/30 DAYS 1
    INQS/6 MONTHS 3
    CF INQS/24 MO 0

All of the inquires that I initiated for the prior two years was listed on the last page. I guess the score takes into consideration what is in the profile summary (30, 60 and CF 24 MO) and the lender still has a full list if they want to consider a longer period of time. I also noticed that my inquiry for the loan was the one inquiry in the last 30 days.
