Since I have been recently trying to get a car loan, I am sure there are at least 4 inquiries that will now be on my credit report. How long do these stay? Can I get them removed? I certainly don't need them to affect my credit anymore than it is already affected, but I need to ask in order to get a loan!
multiple mortgage or car-loan inquiries wtihin a few weeks of each other count as only one inquiry because lenders know you *have* to shop around for these loans.
LK - You may be correct about the system not being smart enough. I suppose I should have included "multiple...inquiries are supposed to only count as one"
