    1) IF I apply for a credit card and the company lists the hard inquiry for collection purposes(which a mortgage company will see) is this illegal. I have never had a card with them and they seem to have mislabeled it but in over a month I have not heard from the on my BBB complaint. They have over 300 complaints this year alone against them.

2)A year ago I tried to get a car loan from a local dealership. They pulled my credit report and a hard inquiry hit. I called for 2 weeks but they kept saying they were not sure yet. I never heard from them again and I never received anything stating I was accepted or turned down. They verified the inquiry saying it was oral.

3)5 weeks ago I applied for a mortgage. I never heard from them again and a hard inquiry was pulled. I received no turn down letter. I called the company listed on the hard inquiry and the dumbest lady alive kept transferring me out to CRAs. She said they have no record of me. I sent a nice threatening letter asking for a deletion as they have no record. I have not heard back.

Do I have a case for any of these. All I want is a removal.

If you get the names of the people saying they have no record of you and subpoena them to court for that purpose that will work.
