ok guys, I am going to try tackling my Equifax inquiries by sending letters to the creditors. But I need some address info. Theses companies have multiple addresses, but I don't know which address to use for inquiry removals. If any one knows, please post.

    The companies are:
    American Express
    Discover Financial Services
    Universal Bank, NA
    Capital One

    Thanks!

I'd suggest PFB'ing these companies first. The e-mails usually get to someone higher than just regular customer service (i.e. Capital One goes to the executive offices), and they may be more receptive than front liners. I think something about knowing a complaint letter is posted for all to see, pushes companies to just do the right thing, as quick as possible.

I did PFB and BBB. I used the portion of the FCRA that states the appropriate law etc. I CC: FTC, my secretary of state and a few others on PFB. I did ask them to provide their permissible purpose or make arrangements within 10 days to have my check for $1000 wired into my account.

I forgot I also gave them a link to the staff opinion letter that is relevant to what I'm asking.
