Ok heres the story, I decided to go New car shopping yesterday, Tradin in the 2000 Explorer for a 2003 Mustang convertible, got my FICO score and it was 671, they said although i qualify for the 0.0% I could get a better deal taking the rebates and shopping a few banks. Finance manager told me that my score was too low for any good prime rate. I asked him what the hell was wrong with my credit and he told me point blank, "Payment history is perfect, no lates, or derogs," just too many inquiries" he said that an inquiry costs you 4 points at least, and the inquirys, 3/4 of which i do not recognize. are killin my score, he told me without them im up around 740. GRRR TU wont investigate and I want my Mustang. whats a guy to do!!!

How many do you have? If you need 70 points to get to 740 - and they're 4 each - that means you have about 17?
