Hopefully someone with more experience than me will respond to you. But from what I have learned - anything such as loan, car, credit card with ontime payments will boost your score. Personally, the fastest way that worked for me to give a quick boost was to be added onto someone's already existing, preferably perfect history credit card. For me, my mom added me as an 'authorized user' on a credit card she has had for awhile, with perfect payment history and a high limit. If you have anyone that could do that for you - I know that helped me. Also, you will find that this board is EXTREMELY helpful! Good luck to you
Over what time period do you need to rebuild your credit? What are your current FICO scores? What accounts do you currently have, with what credit limits? What negative items do you currently have reported on your CRs? What types of credit offers are you currently receiving, from whom, and on what terms?
car loans I don't have a score . It was pushing 600 and then it fell off the map . I have been trying to dispute items on my bureau but thereis a local collection agency here that is big time stubborn . Most all of my crap is from medical bills . Applied for a cap one card yesterday . I can leverage loans if i have to . My mother in law helped me save my home and we took out $85,000 to get my credit figured out . David
