I got a pre-approval offers for Instant Advantage Pltinum Visa from Fleet from the mail yesterday. All I have to do to deposit the check into checking or savings account to accept the offers. The terms are: APR for purchases and BT is 16.99% fixed, no annual fee no transaction fee for the check only on this offer. They told me I got this offer because I have excellent credit standing on my Fleet credit cards. I will get the card within 3 to 4 weeks if I accept the offer. If not, destroy the check. I just looked at their websites. They don't have this card and I think they only offer through the mail. Ron.
Hello Ron, Congrats on getting the pre-approval through Fleet.... I just gotten a credit line increase from them without applying for it either by phone or web.... I also converted my regular card to the fusion card.. Fleet have been good to be so far... Thx, Kev
Re: Instant Advantage Platinum Visa kevinw01, Thanks, I have Fusion Card for over a year and I didn't find any use of the card. The card is nice looking and it has no rewards bonus without paying extra annual fee. I also have Edvance Card and I like the card because the card that give me $50 savings bond when the account accumulated every $2500. They're going to give me the new card soon because they change the Edvance Card into Saving Bond Card. I have requested the limit increase every 9 months by calling their automated phone system. They offer me like something 5.99% to 7.99% BT for six months from time to time. Ron.
Re: Instant Advantage Platinum Visa Hello Ron, Thanks for the info... I only choose the Fusion card is because either I pick the Fusion or the gold card I heard the Fusion is quite a cool looking card so I choose it... Congrats on you new card.... Thx, Kev
Re: Instant Advantage Platinum Visa kevin, I have old Fusion Blue Smart Card and it is good looking. I also have their smart card reader and it is no use for anything. I don't have new Fusion Platinum Card because they don't have any Fusion Platinum Card at that time. I have 11.99% fixed and now they have a floating rate based LIBOR. By the way don't bother to ask for lowering your rate because they cannot do it. Ron.
Re: Instant Advantage Platinum Visa Hello Ron, Thanks for the info... I will post and let you know when I receive the card and let you know if it looks the same and also the apr I got it should be the same as what I got now.... 10.99% fixed... Thx, Kev
Re: Instant Advantage Platinum Visa kevinw01, You got good rate on your Fusion Card and it is better than mine. I checked their websites yesterday and they started to charge annual fee on my Savings Bond Mastercard. I hope the new term doesn't apply on their old account. They're going to sent me a new card this month. Ron.
Re: Instant Advantage Platinum Visa Hello Ron, Thanks, I will let you know when I receive it and see if the apr changes or not and Congrats on your new saving bond card! Thx, Kev
Re: Instant Advantage Platinum Visa kevin, Actually I had Savings Bond Card for two years and it is old. They just changed the name from Edvance Card into Savings Bond Mastercard. Did you request the card reader? I heard they have the smart card that came with Compaq computer and they have bigger memory size of smart chip. The card reader is on the side of the keyboard. Ron.
Re: Instant Advantage Platinum Visa Hello Ron, No I have'nt requested the card reader yet I got one for the Target Visa and is pretty much useless.... but Thanks for letting me know that you have to order it for the fusion card... I will post as soon as I get the new fusion card..... Thx, Kev
