I just got my TU report and I have three inquiries that say "Permissible Purpose = Insurance Underwriting". One is from Geico whom I DID apply with, the other two are Travelers/A+ and AIG whom I did NOT apply with. Are these two permissible since I never applied for insurance with them? And if not, what do I do to get rid of them? Thanks so much for any ideas, I'm learning a lot from this site!
"I NEVER APPLIED~~~REMOVE THE INQUIRY~~~INSURANCE COMPANY FRAUD" Even if you did apply...you DON'T drive by your credit report!!! DISPUTE ALL INQUIRES...ESPECIALLY INSURANCE INQUIRES!!!!!
Sure you do: Your score drops the insurance Co. raises your premium. You go out and try to run over every car on the road because you just paid the insurance company for the privilege. It's disgraceful how insurance companies are putting all these reckless drivers on the roads like that.
I HAD TO SLAM ON THE BRAKES TODAY...SOMEBODY STOPPED SHORT (ALMOST HAD AN ACCIDENT)!!! NEVER WOULD HAVE REALLY HIT THEM...(I'M GRAMA MOSES...SO MY CO-WORKERS SAY) I'M CHECKING MY CREDIT REPORT...SOMEBODY HAD TO PUT A "BADDIE" ON!!!
Since my son has only an AU AMEX BLUE...his insurance went up $200+!!!!!!!! One ticket going 32 in a 35...YES I SAID 32 in a 35!!! (wet pavement)~~~THAT'S A TICKET QUOTA "TICKET" IF I EVER HEARD OF ONE!!! HE NEEDS MORE CREDIT CARDS BEFORE THE POLICE GIVE HIM MORE TICKETS!!!!
If bad credit equals risky drivers don't it also follow that folks with a poor driving record are bad credit risk.So why don't creditors pull driving records before extending credit.!
I'll let you know on my end regarding Amica Mutual (same scenario)...I had a message on my machine, and an email, wanting to "discuss" my email telling them to remove the inquiry. It'll be an interesting conversation tomorrow I'm sure; maybe I'll pocket $1K--but, more importantly, I want the inquiry GONE (okay, I'll take the grand too). David
