Today, I clicked on one of those "compare insurance quotes" links just for the heck of it (just curious every so often if anyone can beat Allstate that I have now). Unbeknownst to me, one of the companies there (GE Auto Insurance) supposedly pulled a CR from ChoicePoint to come up with a "quote" (didn't give em a SS#, no idea what, if anything they hit me with...should I smack them with a NPP?), and their rates are more than double what I'm paying now and more than $300 more than the highest of the rest on the list. Since I had a couple of bucks laying around in my Paypal account, I pulled the auto score/CR from EQ for kicks to see what was in there (figuring that there must be something hideous for them to offer me such a crap rate). Turns out my insurance score is 881/997...92% higher than everyone else and the only negative is "too many inquiries" (one, from the looks of it). If my score is crap, I'd hate to imagine what somebody with a worse score would end up paying for insurance!
WITH POOR CREDIT YOU GET TO PAY HIGHER INSURANCE RATES...YOU STILL DON'T HAVE ANY TICKETS, NO ACCIDENTS, AND NO CLAIMS!!!!!!!! ...BUT THE INSURANCE COMPANIES KNOW YOU WILL HAVE TICKETS, ACCIDENTS, AND CLAIMS...EVEN IF THEY HAVE TO WAIT ANOTHER 30 YEARS...EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE ALREADY WAITED 25 YEARS!!!!!!!!
