Does anyone know if there's a deadline time when banks have to send their year-end interest statements to depositors, like for reporting interest on income taxes? I have all mine except from one partuicular bank. I was wondering if I should contact them about it.
I think they have to MAIL them by Jan 31. I'd go ahead and contact them if I were you. Maybe you can get the information from their web site or your statement. You don't have to send in the form for interest, just report it.
