If you like junk food and one egomaniacal, psychologically disturbed poster whose long, boring, name calling, stupid, redundant and self soliciting threads which are full of wind but make no worthwhile sound, then that's the place to lurk

The CAs that post there seem just like the idiots we have to deal with all day long.

The credit boards' surgeon general advises that this site could be hazardous to your health. Warning: while reading CI.com do not operate a vehicle or heavy equipment.

LOL, clc. Ok, that's one forum I've never seen... but I just visited and saw this interesting thread:

    http://www.collectionindustry.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=8&threadid=956

There's a nice testimonial there which suggests a method I've not seen too often: a goodwill request for a collection account sent to the corporate headquarters of the original creditor. I imagine that this works best with the type of debt under discussion -- a very small debt. Also in that same thread, I found it entertaining to see one of the resident CAs there harassed regarding his take on FDCPA validation. :)
