This is probably old news to a lot of you, but I just had to post it anyway. There's an organization called Victims of Credit Reporting at http://www.vcr.org I just found this a couple of nights ago and wanted to share it. Later, Struggler
good link, I dodn't know about it. Maybe someone did post it before, but it hard to keep up with all the info! Maybe we need to start some sort of FAQ for this board, there is soooo much good info here. Shawn
That's a great idea, Shawn! Yeah, we could take all of the useful links and put them in. I'm not sure about the FAQs, though. There might be a bit too much dissention among the members where certain topics are concerned. If we disagree with an FAQ, do we have 30 days to dispute it?
LOL! I won't even try to follow that one! I agree about the links aprt, and maybe some 'general' Q&A's'. Maybe we should start a new thread and let everyone add, like NanaC did with the cards after BK. It would be nice to add topics such as Nana's also... Great one! Shawn
Just started it...lets see if it works... http://consumers.creditnet.com/stra...ad.php?s=&goto=newpost&threadid=12479&pgnum=1
Thanks for sharing this link. I found many things of interest and it's a very good reference, particularly the letters addressing specific concerns of consumers from the FTC.
