I was going over my validation letters that I sent out to the nortorious NCO, Invision, Medlcr and Merlin. yes folks, I have alot of collections with these people. anyway, I'm looking at the signature's of the green cards that I got back. How is it possible for 1 person to be in two different states at the same time. the green card I got back from Inovision, which was sent to New York, is dated 6/10. Then the one I sent to NCO, which was sent to PA is dated 6/4. both by the same person. I guess after they signed at NCO they got on a plane and flew to New York, so they could sign for my other letter. These people need to be exposed publicly!! maybe 60 minutes, or 20/20 would have some interest in them. What ya think?? kathy
These people have alot of deceptive business practices, it's just a matter of putting it altogether and trying to build a case against them. I will try to run a list of a few of them. if anyone would like to add to it, feel free. If I'm incorrect in any of my information please correct me. 1. Inovision, Medclr & Marlin Intergrated.- when you call you get NCO who answers, you can never speak with anyone from any of these companies. 2. The above decieve the public by saying they are not a Collection Agency, so they can get out of being bounded by the FDCPA & FCRA. apparently they do not collect monies on the accounts, NCO collect's the money, but as of lately NCO apparently does not except checks for Marlin Intergrated stuff??so in essence they are acting as if they are a financial institute. 3. Meclr- has a Pennsylvania address, but they are not licensed to do business (DBA) in PA. 4. NCO - says that they do not own any of above companies, but merely work with them. interesting, because everything seems to always come back to NCO, no matter were you send anything or call. 5. They report to the CRA's under these names, but they do not collect the money????. I'm under the impression that if NCO collects the monies then they should be reporting under NCO name, not the other's on our credit reports. 6. try filing a lawsuit against Inovision, Marlin or Medclr, you won't get any answers to who to send the summon's to. guess who it would have to go to NCO, but they say they don't own the companies above. 7. If you run up the report from the BBB on NCO you will find some rather interesting info. There membership to the BBB was revoked in April of 2002. because they could not maintain the principles and standards required for membership. 8. Also in the BBB report John Emmons in Aug of 2001 replies to the BBB's request to why the such high level of compliants. Emmons say's NCO financial recently grown through acquistitions of companies & sevicing agreements with other collection agencies. He basically says that the past complaints were the companies that they aquired prior to them aquireing them. BS. Aug 2001 The BBB requested further info from Mr. Emmons regarding the names of the new companies that NCO acquired, copies of the training manuel's for the new employee's and the method NCO uses to monitor quality assurance of it's rep's. Sep 2001 Emmons asked the bureau for a 30 day extension to comply. The BBB never rec'd any response from their company. Gee, I wonder who those other companies they acquired are? BBB report was updated 7/2002 alot of this information I got from SCmomof5, and a some checking on my own. I live in PA. about 1/2 hr from the their Horsham office. these people are going down one way or other. This is a personal thing with me. They are decieving the public. and who's knows what there hiding.
I don't know aout 60 minutes or 20/20 or even public exposure, however I DO believe it is a violtion of the Postal Authority Laws. I suggest you check with the Postmaster General's postal fraud division.
Why Chat, that's a good thought, and I think I will take your advice and do some checking with the Postmaster general. I will keep all posted of the results. thanks
