I mailed cmrrr a copy of my answers to the plaintiffs notice to admit on monday june2.The court received it on june 3rd the plaintiff on june 5th.June 5th is one day past the 20 days allowed to answer.Since both are in the same zip code and i have proof my answer was mailed on the same date june 2nd,i was wondering if this might be a problem for me since the plaintiff received their answer a day late and the court received their copy a day early.Which date will count?

Read your court rules. They often say that if you do service by mail, service is three days (or some other number of days) later or words similar to that. This stuff is very court specific, so you may want to read not just the rules but some secondary sources that point you to local decisions that define what all this means.
