Applied and recieved a Target VISA in April, 2002. The card never seemed to post to my reports. I didn't activate the card until last week. I have never used the card, its simply for the sock drawer. This week, the TL reported exactly one week after I activated the card. So.... If you want a card but don't want to take the hit of a new account to your score... get a Target VISA and let it sit for six months or so before activating it.
Yeah..they sent me a Target Visa(had guest card since 1995)a while back and I still have not activated it. We are waiting until we close on our home (hopefully next week) so it won't show up on our reports...They sent me a card last week asking if I received the Target Visa they sent...
