Is she a true believer? Do you think she'll be able to publicize this case enough to put the fear of god into the credit scum?

Doesn't she run a similar credit discussion board somewhere on the net?

There is mention by Mr. Foster that the FUSA attorney was talking of a settlement. What avenue should I take in order to get the legal people at FUSA talking settlement? I've scoured his site, and I cannot specifically see a letter that I could use to bait them. I am not talking a monetary settlement, I would just like for them to remove their tradelines from my reports completely.

Also, if Mr. Foster is doing this, what is the chance, or how does an attorney, get this type of suit turned into a class action suit? There are so many people that are dealing with this.

    What do you all think?

I still can not for the life of me understand how this can make economic sense for Bank one to continue a course of litigation to defend an uncollectable debt.
Perhaps the executives at Chase will look at this.
If I was a stock holder I would certainly question why profits are being spent on this.

I got a deletion from First USA by using an intent to sue letter. Guess I got lucky.

Would you mind posting a copy of this, or give a synopsis of what you wrote. I would like to send one of these to see the response I get, however, I am not sure which sections of the FCRA to quote.
    Thanks

    Hi JB,

I don't know how to copy the letter to this site.

Basically, it states that they violated several Federal and State laws and if I sue them it will cost them more in fines and legal fess than the alledged debt is worth. I demand that they issue a $0 balance statement and delete the account from my report.

I them go on and tell them that if they do what I ask I will keep the transaction confidential and agree not to talk to the media.

I may have just gotten lucky with this. The funny thing is I had 3 accounts and the account they deleted was the smallest one, but I sent the letter regarding the biggest one.

I send the letter to the fraud department. Not to the legal department. Hope this helps.
