I have two Fleet credit cards. I recently recieved a letter in the mail that was creatively disguised as a junk letter about new partnerships with Lycos and other conpanies. On the reverse side it had some fine print about card holder agreements and other legal BS. Comes to find out that Fleet has decided to send out new card holder agreements and try to sneak it past us raising my interest rate from 10.99 to 17.32%.

Be careful! Change cards if you can!

17.32% is going to be cheap. Look out for rates above 20%APR, use your teasers to lower your credit costs. The Fed is out to put the boom on inflation at any cost.

Hi, Chris, I read your message and I have a Fleet Card and noticed my rate is 29.8% for purchases and 30.1% for cash. I haven't used my card in two years and I don't know what to do. Do you have any surgestions?
