I just got a Small Business Auto Quote (Trinity Universal is the underwriter) 1995 Pontiac Grand Am 3-year perfrect driving records property of the business Liability $100K UMC $100K No fault PIP 2.5K Collision ded $500 Comp ded $500 Non-owned auto liability (covers employees) total $893. Nationwide gave me a similar quote w/o the non-owned for $763 with lower ded. Any opinions?
Is that 6 month premium, or 1 year? Sounds like 6 month. If it is 1 yr jump on it, LOL. However, you need to carry more liability - $100,000 doesn't go very far these days. If you were in an accident, it was your fault, and there were, say, 3 people hurt and you did some damage to a beamer or something, you would get your a$$ sued off. Carry as much as they'll give you. If you need the non-owner coverage, go with the company that will give it to you. breze
Hi Breeze! GEICO did everything they said - and the Maxima got its smog check and I just got the tags . IF I get a new car, the CA license fees are very expensive - something like 5% of the car price - I was pleased my 1995 Maxima was only $124. It adds up bigtime if you get a Benz - not that those people care LOL! I am CA DMV's preferred list. With no violations, and history of keeping the car insured, I mail all transactions and, fortunately never set foot into DMV's lines! C ya - Dogman
Re: Hi Breeze! Breeze, It is for one year. I signed up today. I decided to keep the non-owners since I will have employess out in the field. thanks for the advice it really paid off and i saved an inquiry.
Re: Hi Breeze! Woweee! Way to go! That is good. Glad it all worked out for you. Those no-name companies are wonderful! And you are not paying for all that advertising, LOL. breeze
