    From Experian:

Summary of Investigation Results back to top

    GULF STATE CREDIT LLC
    Account Number: xxxxxxx... Outcome: Deleted

    GULF STATE CREDIT LLC
    Account Number: xxxxxxx... Outcome: Deleted

These nitwits bought and sold the accounts in 1 month and placed it on my credit reports...

Maybe my score wil go UP because of a deletion for a change!?

Good job with gulf state, my most despised terrorist group. lol A word of caution, gulf state plays these games. They will not respond to disputes from the cra's, let it be deleted and then 3 months later re-report it. If it was originally listed as gulf state, they will re-report it as OSI. Just keep an eye on your reports. Also, if you haven't sent them a validation, you might want to think about that.

    LKH,

I've seen many of your posts and I know they are your mortal enemy. I think these listings are gone for good only because they sold off the accounts, but I will keep an eye out.

I do have another listing from Gulf State that they have been updating every month as a collection account. I think they are trying to collect under OSI, but the listing is under Gulf States. I've sent them a validation letter, they signed for it on Feb 1, and I've also asked for verification from CRA. So far no notation that the account is disputed by consumer and let's see if the verify it.

One side note is that according to Mass. law, CRA must notify the CA of an investigation within 5 days. Then I suppose the CA has 25 days to respond. The 2 GS listings that got deleted took the entire 30 days. The longer this goes, the less likey they wil verify/validate.

I'm going to look for the AG's number soon...
