Hi, I used to be a member and am wondering if this way of getting rid of inquiries is gone. I have recently had an onslaught of them from VERY old CAs. Any suggestions on removing? Thanks!
Sign up for True Credit and pull your reports every 24 hours. You will get bumpage on Equifax and Trans Union. Regarding Experian, draft communications to every entity which pulled your credit report and request from them the permissible purpose they had to do so. You may have some simply remove the inquiry or re-code the pull.
Thank you so much for the input. I am just getting up to speed again. Am I correct that Truecredit is $12.99/month? Are there any discount codes?
by "pulling your report" you mean clipping the tab that says my credit report right? because I have been doing this but none of my inquiries have changed.
Go to the tab on the right hand side (once you are looking at your report) notated as "update" or something to that effect. It will take you through a series of screens/prompts.
Bumpage is the process of removing one's inquiries through True Credit and other monitoring services. In pulling your report through TC (or others), your inquiries will be removed from Trans Union and Equifax insofar as these two credit reporting agencies only allot a certain amount of storage space for each consumer file electronically. In other words, the soft inquires you accrue through pulling your own reports through the above services takes up space and inquires (hard) are thereby removed. Do not elect to get any Equifax monitoring services inasmuch as it will "chop" tradelines along with inquiries.
