Anyone know how easy Citgo is to get? Are they Bankruptcy friendly or not and who do they pull in Texas? I went to the Yahoo site on who pulls what but could not find Citgo anyone know? Thanks, Andra
Dunno about BK, but my wife got one with less than 1 year credit history. But CL = $200 only .... Pulled Equifax, I think ... we're in NJ Hope that helps.
I have a Citgo card at like 19.5 %. They told me they never lower the APR, since it's not meant to be used for carrying a balance from month to month. They figure that people should just pay it in full each month, since it's a low limit card, just designed to get you to buy citgo gas.

Like another poster said "this card is designed for gas" not a revolving so if the interest rate was 50%, as long as you pay in full every month then their are no finance charges and interest!
Re: Re: Is Citgo Gas Card Easy to g They won't lower your rate, but they will bump your credit line up if you've kept it in good standing for a while. My Citgo card (carry $0 balance) is about 5 years old, and I've got $450 which is pretty good on a gas card. In a pinch, you can get some food, or replace your tires if they go bad. I just like it because it's really easy, with pay at the pump citgo station 4 miles from my home. ChrisB

I got a 500/250 limit, then they raised the purchase limit from 500 to 600 just because I bought so much stuff at 7-11. And made only minimum payments, by the way. They raised me to 600 when my purchase balance was close to 500.
