Does anyone know if Citi NA and Citi USA are still using different databases and are still separate? In other words, if I apply for the Travelocity card from Citi USA, will Citi NA know? The following is on the terms and conditions page for the Travelocity card: You must be a legal resident of the United States. The application cannot be processed if the mailing address has been changed to a different or a foreign address. Citibank (South Dakota), N.A. ("Citibank" or "we"), the issuer of your card, may require you to provide a street address to us before we process your application.
LKH, I applied for the Travelocity.com mastercard in the past 6 six weeks and I was approved. I included Citibank in my BK years ago, so I don't think the databases have been merged yet. KK
Thanks George. KK - who did they pull and what was your score, if you don't mind? Was it online approval?
Pulled Experian and my score at that time was 690. No negatives. One more thing they are reporting already (at least to Experian) and the "limit" so to speak is listed in the high balance field and the limit field has N/A. I also had 5 inquiries including one from them for a decline last spring. KK
Yes you can get CitiUSA cards, when you have the max NA cards already USA cards however are NOT instant approval, you have to wait for the snailmail or call.
LKH From my experience CitiUSA pulled the same report that CitiNA pulls ( Equifax). If approved you should get your card within 10 days, they don't send a welcome letter like NA, just send you the card and terms. This is for the Quicken card though, but USA just the same. Hope this helps.
Thanks for the info. I had previously mistakenly posted that Citi NA pulled equifax for me. They didn't. They pulled Experian for me each time. But if USA pulls Equifax, I will have to wait a couple of weeks til I get a couple more bumpages. LOL
A friend was approved in August by Citibank NA, who pulled TU in California. $3,000 cl w/8-year-old bk, no other derogs. TU inquiry says: "CitiCards CBSDNA".
