I would like to monitor my credit reports online. Is credit expert and the others worth the money? Or, should I just rely on the free reports I receive each year? Thanks.

It's worth $0, which is what it will cost you if you cancel it every 29 days (before free trial is up).

How many months have you used it without getting charged?

    Bkev, no comment? Haha.
I have to say three "no comments" in a row.
I do wish Equifax would do something similar with unlimited reports, and TU needs to get in the game.

You can pull your Experian report what ever you want for free at the Experian site,
just use the Link "request an investigation". You would need an old report number.

I bought it, paid for it, consider it priceless. You can check your report as much as you want without penalty.

As a resident of GA, I had been getting free reports monthly by mail without penalty, but I think this is much easier. Changes are much easier to track and I can just keep soft copies.

It's only 80.00 bucks a year, thats only about a 1.70 a week. More than a fair price.

I think it is worth it. Sometimes it is frustrating seeing the things you have been trying to get rid of everytime you log on. Overall I like it. Trans Union needs to wake up and get with it.

I get my experian for free everyday too! I have report numbers I've gotten when I put in "denied credit" and each day I put that number in for the "request investigation" and viola! You have an updated version of your credit report!

I like seeing the score move (up normally!). Positive reinforcement.

Yeah, it's worth the $80/year. Equifax is a joke - the score costs $12.95 per pop, and sometimes I want to run a score 2x/month (to see the effects of transferring $$$ to a home equity line, for instance).

BTW- it seems that moving $15k in debt from cards to home equity moved my score up something like 23 points.

How often does CE update? Is this like Privista-just once per week-or as soon as something changes?

As soon as new info is reported or as your score changes.
