My EQ report is basically 80% wrong. I mean really wrong not just me wanting to not own up to something. I disputed 13 items online and they have corrected several of them. They have to complete their investigation by June 7, In the last three days my current address has changed three times. When I first disputed I gave them my correct address and now they have an address that does not even exist. Are they thinking I'm going to re-dispute my address so they can prolong the investigation or what? I'm just going to wait until the investigation is over and then re-dispute my address. Is that the correct thing to do?
Wait until they respond with the "investigation results" by mail. They will do this by sending you a complete report too. Then if you find these errors I would send in a new set of disputes based on that information. -Peace, Dave
Thanks Dave, I know 13 disputes are to many, but their report on me is bogus. I feel like sending them EXP and Tu's reports as they are the most accurate. EXP and Tu have some wrong info but only about 5 or six items each. If I dont dispute the max allowed each time it will be time for the items to drop off before I get to them by only disputing 1-6 items at a time.
They will mail the results to whatever address is current at the time they print the report. I think what is happening is that the companies which you disputed are responding and updating the file with what they show as current information.
