Is Equifax ignoring me?

I have a return receipt that says my dispute was received by Equifax on July 09, yet I have not heard a word from them. Transunion on the other hand received my letter on the 11th and they sent me a notice that they would be investigating and get back to me in 30 days.

Since I have received no communication whatsoever from Equifax, do you think they have ignored me? How long should I wait before demanding that they remove all disputed items?

    Thanks,

Equifax never sends a letter acknowledging they received your disputes.

Thanks Mom, so should I just sit tight, or at what point should I send my next communication?

    thanks,

Well I would probably call them on Monday and asked what the status of your dispute is and what is the estimated completion time, since they received and you have proof of July 9.

I just recently had the same worry-I didn't even get a letter acknowledging receipt of my dispute from Equifax. I just waited it out-it was within 30 business days of sending, but they do tend to wait until the last minute to reply with an updated report.
