You be the judge. Take a look at two letters I got from them recently. One dated September 10 and the other September 11. Notice the problem? How can items that should have been veryfied or deleted by August 29 be instead veryfied on September 11? It boggles my mind. (These are the same accounts that an Experain rep told me couldn't be deleted when I called on September 10 to inquire about why they were still marked as in dispute. Strange indeed.)
Okay. I'll comment. I had something similiar happen and after getting upset, I calmed down and called them and asked them to investigate another inaccurate part of the TL. Rep didn't want to at first but I reminded him that I am entitled to accuracy and the part of the TL I was requesting an investigation on was inaccurate and that I hadn't had that specific element investigated before. Still came back verified by the way. Just gotta say they mess up ALL the time.
I went ahead and called again today. As it turns out, because my dispute did not contain a correction (ie I told them WHAT was wrong, but not the correct info) they simply left it when it wasn't verified! Even if I tell them explicitly, according to the rep, the only time they will delete an item is if I dispute it as not mine. Of course, I wonder then how the foreclosure I had got deleted. I sure didn't dispute it as not mine... BTW, this is the third rep to tell me the only way to get reinvestigation procedures is through subpoena. I guess I'll have to oblige them.
