let you dispute inquiries?? I can't remember which one doesn't. There are a few on there I would love to try to get off if its at all possible. I can't dispute online, have to go through my affiliate Choicedata.

    Thanx!

Yes, I'm pretty sure it's Equifax. However, I think some members here have had some success with disputing inquiries on EQF, so you might want to do a search here for "Equifax inquiry disputes" or something like that. Good luck, and let us know what happens!

EQUIFAX is the HARDEST...you may be able to dispute it by saying something like "I already have a card, and DIDN'T apply for a second one"...or "they said they had to pull a 'HARD', so I said FORGET IT"...(I'm NOT an expert with EQUIFAX...no on-line access available for me).

Either dispute it in the first couple of days, or wait for the inquiry to be 6 months old...many people have said that they had great luck with inquires 6 months +

I was gonna post about Equifax and inquiries myself....

I just got my Equifax report and have a huge amount of inquiries.... Exxon keeps pulling my report every 3 months even though my account has been closed with them since 1997.

CapitalOne is getting my report every month - and I've neer been late with them and have had the account 1 1/2 years.

Wal Mart is another one.. they keep pulling my report every 3 months and I closed it in August - the thing only had a $100 limit on it, so what's the use of having it? I've had to close this Wal Mart account 3 times since August, the latest being just last week. It keeps magically appearing back open.

I sent a letter off to Equifax about this, but am kinda feeling let down to find out that they are difficult to deal with as far as inquiries.

But ya dont' know 'til ya try, so it's only the cost of a stamp....

    Ozzy.

You guys are right. Might as well give it a shot. I'll update when I get a response back. This affiliate gets back to me in about a week or two with updates so we'll see.

    Thanks!!
