Is it OK to write letter to OC and state that they are not reporting correctly because the account was included in BK?

I've read 100 times to not send BK papers to CRA but is it ok to do with OC?

    I want to restate this.

I have read 100 times to NOT admit BK to a CRA either by disputing as "Included in BK" or by sending in the Discharge Papers BUT .......

Is it ok to admit BK either by letter or via sending in Discharge Papers to an OC to get an account that is reporting as "Closed with balance" or "Chared Off" reported correctly?

    Yea, that's better. :)

I'm not sure what the above has to do with my question. Am I missing something?

    Mike,

Write to the OC directly and dispute their reporting and request verification.

They are responsible for the information they are furnishing for reporting, FCRA Section 623.
