I'm in the same boat (although as you might suppose, not many others on this board are).

I'm thinking not. It's not like these are closed accounts tossed off into some dusty BK drawer, they're actively being paid by the Trustee. I'm also thinking it's going to be particularly hard for the OCs.

But I'm going to try it, since they've managed to sufficiently crud up my report otherwise. Have you looked at your reports yet?

Yes, I have looked....and I wanted cry. At least my CRC/Equi. I used to have decent credit from repairing until I lost my job and was out of work for over a year. As a last result I filed 13 to keep my sanity, not to mention my house/cars, etc. Now I am just devastated.....any suggestions?

I just started this stuff myself. I'm just going to take the worst stuff first.

First for me is the creditor that, instead of listing the account in BK, listed it as a chargeoff, backdated it by 8 months, and shows me still owing a balance.

I intend to object to several of their "proofs of claim" if they insist on listing balances outside of BK.
