Is it worth to do that?

    As I applied for some stuff and of course got denied or got approved but with terms not as expected, and now as my last bad account was removed, I was thinking;

    When you dispute and get an item removed or changed in your credit report, do you request from CRA to send the updated copy of your report to anyone who received one within the last 6 months? Does it make any difference in your recent applications? Who actually gets it? Credit department? Have you gotten anything out of this?

    As a reminder, here is a copy of this from FTC website:

    "If you request, the CRA must send notices of any correction to anyone who received your report in the past six months. You can have a corrected copy of your report sent to anyone who received a copy during the past two years for employment purposes. If a reinvestigation does not resolve your dispute, ask the CRA to include your statement of the dispute in your file and in future reports."

    I personally haven't. It says anyone, and I've had CA's pull my report in the past 6 months. Horrors if they get an updated report showing I'm on an improvement mission.

    I tried it once to see what happens and the people they were supposed to send it to never got it.

    That sounds like a violation of FCRA to me...
