I post here occasionaly and saw a few folks get approved for the NextCard. Congrats to all of you!!!

I decided to apply tonight for this card and got approved ....yeah!!!

I was offered the Classic Card with $2500.00 limit as long as I did a balance transfer of $1000.00. Intro APR is 9.9 for three months.

My queston is simple. Is NextCard a "Prime" issuer? I have heard that this card is hard relatively hard to get so I was suprised I was approved so easily.

I wish it was the Platinum but maybe they can upgrade after 6 or 12 months of good history.

    Thanks for your responses,

It depend what type accounts they approved you. It can be Platinium with 9.9% APR or subprime card or secured cards.
