Why is the equifax report from privacy Guard different than the one form Equifax site? Privacy Guard is showing that I have 28 inquiries and Equifax are showing 18 and they are not all the same.

I've had the same sort of problem with PG concerning EQ inquiries and EQ accounts showing as open when they are really closed. I called PG, and they said that the info is what they get from EQ. I check my EQ CreditWatch report, and i find both reports are different.

This makes things very confusing for the consumer. Maybe PG is pulling their info from one database, and EQ CreditWatch is pulling their info from a different database. So, which one is the RIGHT database, and what is REALLY on my reports for lenders to look at???

I cancelled my PG membership before the 3 months was up. Their scores are bogus, and so is their service if they can't give me a straight answer.

I would like to know as well. I've made several post regarding the same issue without much response. This is the info that I got from privacyguard: "Privacyguard pulls from Equifax's MAIN database" They claim that the reports that we receive directly from equifax are incorrect. Supposedly we see what the sattelite offices see and not what the main office sees. Funny I can't possibly imagine how a sattelite office CAN'T see what their corporate offices are seeing. Unfortunately i've been caught up in the blame game. All I want to know is who is accurate. Not only is this a problem with my equifax but my transunion report as well. All of the accounts that privacyguard has inaccurate with the other bureaus are negative accounts. When I call two of the three credit bureaus to dispute the negative information, they can't see it. If anyone has this information, your input is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

It's very confusing. Concerning EQ, I've found that MyFico and CreditWatch both appear to pull from the same database. This is good, since the MyFico score is the one that counts. The PG info remains puzzling, especially when I hear about the "main database" vs the "satellites".

So, the question remains, what IS accurate concerning our credit reports? Any info would be much appreciated!
