RE: Is social Security income Yes it is legally considered income and i know that for a fact and from experience. I get social security disability and my two daughters each get SSI due to their mental challenges. However to make ends meet i work cleaning peoples houses and i detail cars as well. I can even do an oil change! Do not be ashamed of declaring social security as income because it is your right plus if you work at another thing such as myself who cleans houses and my daughters help me then you prove that you are not lazy. Everybody has hard times.
