I received a strange call a few minutes ago. Someone saying a Mr Lowrey was attempting to contact me in regard to a drawing I had won, new car, cash, etc. Now, I do not remember entering any drawing and wonder if this is a CA, perhaps one I sent a C & D letter to trying to get me to contact them. Anyone have any experience with this?

Tell them you DON'T do business by phone. Mail the "PAID IN FULL" receipt for the car at my local dealer to my home address!!!

Probably not a CA...probably MUCH WORSE!!

The dreaded TIME SHARE VACATION SALESMAN! Ahhhh!

Sir you have one either a new 2002 Buick Century LTD, a New $250,000 home, or a vacation to a beautiful resort.

Hmmmm. I bet you'll get the vacation.

    -Peace, Dave

PS if you do find it is the CA, be GLAD. Then you have them on deceptive collection practices as well as collection attempt during validation.

Actually, it was a new chevy, a vacation, and Vanna White.

I agree with Dave. I get those calls all the time. Probably timeshare.
