Is this a hard inquiry?

    I have an inquiry that is listed as:

    REA-Risk Management Alternatives

    This is on Equifax, and the REA isn't listed among the other prefixes of soft inquiries. This was one af my first disputes back in January. It was deleted, but the inquiry showed up. If it's a hard inquiry, I want to nail them on it. Thanks.

    This one thing I don't like about EQ, they list hard and soft under one category. EG: on mines Truelink inquiry is listed as soft under TU and EXP, but on EQ it looks like a hard inquiry. You might try and see if they are on your other reports, maybe you can get an idea from there if it's hard or soft.

    It isn't on either of the other reports, just Equifax.

    REA (whatever the hell it is) is a hard inquiry. I have one from REA-Chapel Hill. Equifax refuses to remove it and I have no idea what the hell it is. Some kind of collection agency location service.
