I have the following two items (of many) on my credit report.Original Creditor: Credit One - $695 Written Off (Charged Off) - Date last reported 8/2009 - scheduled to continue on record until 11/15LVNV: (Marin - OC) - Original Amt: $696, Current Past Due:$882 - Date last reported 12/10 - scheduled to continue on record until 10/15So - here are my thoughts/questions:1. From reading the boards and subsequent research it appears that Marin and Credit One are one and the same. Tricky and Shady, especially when they are reporting the same tradeline through two different company names (when listing themselves as the OC with the CA). I didn't recognize the LVNV line until I researched and compared the acct #s. 2. The Balance Charged Off by Credit One is still being reported by Credit One and differs from the Original Balance reported by LVNV. LVNV has also tacked on an additional almost $200.3. The scheduled dates on record vary by one month. Before I drew the connection, I iniated on online dispute with LVNV. Any thoughts on how I should proceed? I was thinking of disputing Credit One since they are reporting past due balances to all 3 CRAs and LVNV is pretty much doing the same with their overinflated balances. Can they do this? Currently combing through the FCRA - I have broad knowledge of it, but apparently not enough and I need to re-read. Any advice or thoughts greatly help!!!!!

Sorry- I'm a bit confused. LVNV is the CA, right? And Credit One is the OC. Credit One is reporting a charge off and LVNV is reporting a collection. If that's the case, I don't see anything wrong with that. They can both report separately even though the debt is the same.

Have you DV'ed the CA yet?
