I currently have a collection account for utilities that I had in 1997. I've made arrangements to pay the CA in installments. They have been reporting the CRA a balance and a past due amount. Now all of asudden the original creditor (Duke Power Co) pulls a hard inquiry on me with Eq and then inserts my late payments. Can they do this????
