I have two relate derogatory items on my credit. I had a credit card that I was late on (30 days late twice). The card was lost, so the bank cancelled the card, and issued another one with a new account number. Unfortunately, I was also late a couple of times on the new one two. Right now, it shows I have 2 credit credit cards from this company, and both are showing up as derogatory. What should I do? Does it look worse to have these two showing up at the same time, or is there a way to get rid of one of them? Thanks in advance!
write a nice letter stating the reasons why the cards were 30 days late. 9 times out of 10 since you have paid on time every month they will correct it. Write the letter in your own words though. I noticed I have more success that way.
