Just want to know if this considered negative.

    Account Number: XXXXXX
    Acct Type: Revolving Charge Account
    Acct Status: Closed
    Monthly Payment: $0
    Date Open: Dec, 1996
    Balance: $0
    Terms: Revolving
    High Balance: N/A
    Limit: $1,279
    Past Due: $0
Remarks: Account in dispute-reported by subscriber
Payment Status: Account transferred to another office

This account is with kmart, I sent them a validation they sent me a letter asking for more info on the account in question, I provided more info and never heard from them again. SO I go to the CRA and dispute account and it comes back verrified, they sold the account to someone else but yet lef thte listing on my credit. By lookking at it I do not know if it is affecting or not, when I pulled myfico the account did not even have a dola and I disputed that and now they allegedlly verified and have a dola. If it is negative anithing else I should do other than suing them?

According to the dola the accouns 7 years are up on may 2004, should I just let it go and concentrate my efforts on other accounts?

    Thanks

From what you've listed there I don't see anything negative about it. You didn't mention if it was showing 30 day or 60 day (or worse) late payments, but if not, then I'd leave it alone. The comment about it being transfered to another office would only be seen by a lender manually reviewing your credit report (such as for a mortgage), and frankly, even that comment isn't really a negative thing.

    HTH,
    Brett

Closed, 0$ Balance, 0$ Past Due looks like a positive account.

Just monitor your CR's to make sure CA doesn't crawl out from under a rock and start reporting or re-aging the account
