Hi all i am new to this forum i used to post on another but i got a new computer since then and forgot its address., if anyone knows some other credit forums post them for me please so i can read even more stuff. On to my problem ;-[ I went to a hospital and at the time had no job etc and qualified for charity care 100% meaning i was supposed to pay nothing. apparently they sent me something in the mail saying that i had to reaffirm something in my application by getting supporting documentation, i never recieved this request. Then what happened is the hospitol sends me a full bill becasue they revoked my charity application. I get this new bill and call them to deal with it and they tell me i had 14 days to send in the request i never got and that time was expired. So i tried to deal with the hospital to no avail they then send me to a collection aggency this aggency sends me things saying whatever which i ignore casue i am dealing with the hospital. anyways then i end up paying this thing way later becasue it turned into a8 collections and a judgement. then the hospital agrees that their was a communication problem and writes a letter to the CA i call the CA and ask when i can get the collections removed they tell me never they wont remove them beasue once the judgements entered they were made by default accurate debts and out of the original creditor's hands. now this is the big question i tell the guy i will call all day and continue to dispute it till the end of time costing him time and money. he then tells me that thyey will hang up on me and that they verify all disputes automatically by computer and it takes about 3 milliseconds. is it legal to automatically dispute somethign by computer ? don't they actually have to look up the information ?
i meant to say ccan they automatically via computer do a investigation ? if so then its not really an investigation is it ?
1*The agency sends me things saying whatever which I ignore cause I am dealing with the hospital. 2*it turned into a collection and a judgment 3*once the judgments entered they were made by default accurate debts and out of the original creditor's hands. 4*now this is the big question I tell the guy I will call all day and continue to dispute it till the end of time costing him time and money. He then tells me that they will hang up on me and that they verify all disputes automatically by computer and it takes about 3 milliseconds. 5*is it legal to automatically dispute something by computer? don't they actually have to look up the information? Hideous ====================== 1*Wrong move: that's probably why you're in the predicament you're in now. Also you can't deal with the hospital if the CA is the owner of the debt. 2*Who got the judgment the CA or the hospital? Why did you let them get a judgment? 3*That depends on who obtained the judgment. Who was it? 4*You need to learn how to deal with CAs. To do that read these 4 threads found at the top of each page. 1 the CA here didn't buy then debt they collect on the behalf of the hospital but dion't buy it. the hospitoal was willing to take payments before and after the judgement happened. 2. the CA got the judgement. 3 the CA got the judgement. but the collections ? that lead to the judgement can't the hispital influence them ? the CA go those listed as well. but what about automaticly verifying byt computer to the CRA's ?
