A few days ago I received a letter from the 722 Redemtion funding company, and it appears to be a company that gives credit to in bankruptcy situations. In my reading, I was under the understanding that in chapter 7 you sure better not be trying to obtain more credit before it is discharged. The wording was pretty fishy, implying that whatever information would not be available to the public (trustee). I ripped it up, but i"m thinking about sending it to the FTC for investigation if this is an attempt to get people in bankruptcy to do something fraudulent. As for me I want more credit right now about as much as I want my foot sawed off with a rusty chain saw.

Has anyone ever gotten one of these during bankruptcy? is this even legal?
