Is this normal? Just Starting

Three years ago, I was injured at work. Then last year, my husband was injured. After being out of work for surgeries and rehabs for both of us, our bills got behind. Keeping our mortgage current was more important than CC's. Now that we are finally getting back to normal financially, we are trying to get everything straightened out. I pulled all three online credit reports, and I am in shock! I knew there were charge-off's etc, but every single item is being reported differently ie. different charge-off dates, different amounts, wrong acct numbers. I am flabbergasted that it's so messed up. Acct's in good standing with acct numbers we have never had, even though we have had accts with them in the past that we closed. Are they just picking numbers out of a hat somewhere?!!

This is my first question: Is it normal for all the acct's that begin with zero to have it dropped off the account number? Example 012345 shown as 12345. It's with all CC acct's and my student loans. Is this maybe an online mess up?

Second question: Should I even dispute accts that appear to be in good standing even though they are acct #'s we have never had? Some are going to stay on there for another 6 years.

    In credit chaos,
    Kim

Cra's are always hacking the acct #'s that they report. I guess it is normal. As far as accts that are in good standing, I wouldn't dispute any of them at this point. I would concentrate on the negs first.
