Week ago I dispute something on my Experian report. At the time I spoke to them I referred to my updated report from December. I just got in the mail my first Experian report from October?!! How is this possible? Arenâ??t they supposed to delete any previous reports except the newest one, and to keep only one â??versionâ? of credit file in their system? Thanks, Denny
Re: Re: Re: Is this possible?! Somebody pressed the WRONG BUTTON??? They have it in their records...BUT should only send you NEWEST INFORMATION...
Re: Re: Re: Is this possible?! Last April I requested a copy of my credit report from them, because I was denied on an application; they mailed September's report, and RE-ISSUED a FRAUD ALERT which I had placed on the account because a CA had decided to send communications with my SS #, to 'my' address which the moron obtained through the phone company, which is for a different person with the same first and last name, in addition to my address on the validation letter. I wouldn't even known except for the fact that I did break rule #1, and call their offices, and tripped them up within the first minute, when they asked me to verify my address, and I simply answered "The address you mailed me at." and they read off this other address...
Re: Re: Re: Is this possible?! Remember, think of this as a positive... IF you ever have to sue them or a CA for making a false report to them, you know that they have the old documentation available for discovery...
Re: Re: Re: Is this possible?! How can I be sure that the next time someone requests my credit file - Experian is going to send them the newest one - not the oldest one, when they failed to send me the newest one?!
