Is validation still an option?

We are being pursued by ca for $2200 on a charge-off. I contacted the ca and got them to agree to a total removal of all negative info from the oc. I also sent a "good-faith" payment of $300 with the intent to send the balance once i received a written agreement which of course i never received. When i called them to find out where the written agreement was the ca exploded and called me a "used car salesman" swore at me and hung up. I documented everything and sent a certified letter to the oc with a copy of the agreement that the ca had promised to honor. No response from the oc but the ca went dark for about 3 months and stopped calling.

That was 3 months ago. Now they are calling again but I wil not speak to them.

Is it too late for validation? If no, how do i proceed? I want to avoid a possible judgment.

    Thanks

Send V L now like you should have done in the first place.
