I am locked out of the tu site for 5 more days...damnit...and I just pulled worthknowing tu report (freebie method). Is it the same report?? I am wondering because my bk is gone. It says I have no public record on file. All of the other info is the same...except I have no previous addresses listed at all (called them the other day cause they listed my ex's name and address as current...<wretching>). They corrected my info on the spot and will send updated copy. I also have no previous names listed...nothing. All of the credit info is accurate. It shows 2 coll accts (1 pd and 1 unpaid that I pd yesterday). That's it. It would be interesting to find out if my bk is really gone!!!!! I dunno how, though. The guy I spoke with to correct my info was really nice, but I didn't bring up the bk at all. Now, I can't even remember if worthknowing showed my bk before when I pulled it. I'm pretty sure it did. Does anyone know if worthknowing is a correct tu report? Just wondering if anyone else's bk shows up on worthknowing and if it is an accurate report. Of course my score is .....5, lol
I don't trust it. There is info on my WK report that is not on my TU (late date on one account). Plus, WK lists that account as good whereas TU lists it as derog. Not to mention the WK recommendations had nothing to do with my report whatsoever.
Okay, just ordered report from tu site. Now, the file it pulled was the same as worthknowing! I called tu to see if my file split...nope. They did a search under ss number. Now, I had results from my last round of disputes dated 2/5. Get this...the only copy she could look at was the one from 2/5...not todays report because I have a dispute on 1 item pending. So, won't be ably to find out if this info is really right until I get results back on March 6!!! WTF! Bit of info... With all the same derog, less bk, FACO shot up 79 points.
YA' GET WHAT YA' PAY FOR... It is ALMOST worth what you pay for it... Many people have had open accounts that show as closed and closed that show as open. Also balances many months old to more than one year old.
WK is only good for one thing and it is golden! Use it daily for bumpage. I have had 20 inquiries removed in less than a year on TU. Still working like a charm. Also ok if you want to see something on your TU report and u dont want to wait a week for it. (I assume everyone is getting free weekly reports from TU) Just state that you have been denied credit within the last 60 days, name of CO does not matter at all. I have no inquiries now and still do this ever week. NO need to pay a cent. dan
Well, That's just it...I DID get my report from tu (the free one) after I saw my wk report. It matched the wk report...no bk, no inqs period (excpet wk inq I did before pulling tu one), no previous addresses...but all of the credit info is what it should be, unfortunately, lol (just 2 baddies left that are stuck like chuck) Hmmm...wonder what the deal is. Anyways, I'm curious to see if my fico has jumped like the FACO did. Before there was a 55 point difference...FACO was 550 and FICO was 605. Now FACO is in 620's. Just don't want to pay for it if it isn't correct and if the bk/inqs/etc will show back up. It doesn't seem right that they should just re-appear on the one ya pay for...they are both from tu (tu free report from tu site and tu w/ fico score from tu site).
noi need to check real FICO unless you are making a major purpose like a house or car plus your scores are still low though on the way up with your score you can get orchard, providian, household and maybe cap 1 dan
Re: Re: Is worthknowing accurate????? It's just as depechebkn said. You go to the transunion website, fill out your info, and the last part asks you why you want your report. This is where you'll say you've been "denied credit within the last 60 days", and you'll get your free report.
