Credit Card Fraud. I seem to read about it every day. Never thought it would happen to me. Well it didn't, but almost. Yesterday I received a call from Associated Citi's security dept. wanting to know if I had applied for a Exxon Citi card.(I think) Some one from Rockford Il. had applied with all my personal info. S.S., DOB. What flagged the alert was the address being different. What's coincidental is that the night before I had checked TU, which I seldom do, and noticed a hard from Assoc. Citi. Was just getting ready to call about it when I got the call from them. It can happen to you. P.S. I forgot to tell them if was approved with a high CL to go ahead and send it to me. hehe
Man's wife lost her card...the person who found it was using it...BUT the husband didn't do anything about reporting it STOLEN...BECAUSE THE THIEF WAS SPENDING MUCH LESS THAN HIS WIFE...
